This website design may surprise and potentially frustrate you if you are used
to many modern websites. Compared to those websites, this website may lack
certain features you are used to. It may look less pleasant than you are used

These "limitations" are actually benefits in disguise and are wholly
intentional. This website lacks slick features because it does not employ any
sort of javascript or other programming language beyond very simple html. Check
for yourself by viewing the page's source code by right clicking and selecting
view page source! For a learning exercise, try this on another website that is
"modern". You will immediately realize that this webpage and webpages like it
are intended to clearly show what operations are being performed by your
computer when you visit them and that the more "modern" alternatives
intentionally obfuscate thousands of lines of code that is essentially for
impossible for anyone to easily understand. The purposeful exclusion of these
"features" also makes the website much faster, more secure, and more private.
